I just want to express my condolences to you his family (his wife his children his parents and siblings). I did not find out about Duane passing away until I happened to run into George after it was too late to say goodbye. I used to drive from Canton to hang out with my "Wayne" friends. But sometimes they would come and see us (Me and Erica) as well. I still have a photo (cir 1992 possibly) of Duane and George in Erica's living room he looks so large compared to George.  Some things I remember about Duane: He always made you feel safe (no one dare to mess with him) he had the talking car alarm that never seemed to shut up (on a black Monte Carlo-I am pretty sure that was the type of car) he could always make you laugh. I remember one time I picked him up (the house by Kroger off Michigan Ave) and we were going to go to eat just the two of us.. (That was rare when we hung out with soo many people). I told him I would drive and he made some comment about how girls can't drive. I made the right on Michigan Avenue by Pizza Hut and went about 30 centimeters before realizing that was the wrong direction. I heard about that one forever. Needless to say I never had to drive again.

To his wife your husband was a good friend when I needed one and was an incredibly kind man. I am sure you know how lucky your were to be blessed with his love if only for awhile.

To his mom in a world where most boys are only after one thing thank you for raising a son who was always polite and respectful. I am sorry that we lost touch but I will not forget him ever.
